You can place an order now, and you will be among the first batch of customers who will be getting their car first quarter of 2012. No promises before Chinese New Year as that would be first week of Jan.
There are 20+ orders collected so far and the cut of date is 1st October. Orders after this date will fall into the next production.
The cars are almost 90% spec up and the beauty in placing an order now, is you get to customize your car the way you want it to be. Meaning you can choose the exact color/interior of your choice. You also get to choose or uncheck options you do not want in your car. Once the first order is over, you can only purchase the pre-selected pre ordered cars. You can still customize thou however this falls into indent basis, which means longer waiting time.
Speak to your M Specialist if you have one, if not you can PM me and I can help you out.![]()

clar;686893 said:Thanks for the information! I am certainly keen on the new M5. However, i am definitely not the sort to go for 1st batches of a new model as they tend to have some production niggles to iron out. I will probably wait a while to hear from actual owners.

You are looking at $498,800 COE included, negotiable slighty, for a roughly 90% spec up car.Pm me if you need more details. The dateline is Friday for the first batch of cars.
If you like to know what the engine feels like, we can do a test drive on the X5M and X6M. Both these cars use the same engine as the M5, only the M5 has a slighly higher BHP output. Also, since the gearbox and so is the weight of these 2 cars (6 Speed M Auto gearbox) compared to the M5 (DCT) are different, you are looking at a much more nimble and quicker M5.

No one can give you a true OMV until the vehicle has arrived in Singapore. Any PI who gives a OMV value now or promises one in likely to be pulling your leg. I have heard quite a few customers advice me on PI OMV.
Currently at the moment, no news or talks of an estate? I am guessing thats what you're refering to. I reach up as much as I can on forum sites, also we have people who just came back from Germany and there are no news of a M5 Estate at the moment at least![]()

My E92 M3 was the first batch with DCT and in the last 3 years, it's been bulletproof.
With trips up to Sepang on quite a few occasions and I drive it pretty hard (like an M car should haha) and not a single problem to this day. Fantastic car and build quality. After 3 years of ownership, I'm still amazed by the M3 as a complete package of performance, reliability, comfort and everyday practicality.
And the M5 looks to be even better!

To summarise, you're saying the car is priced around half a million without an OMV ballpark. Strange you can price cars without an OMV ballpark.

SC_IS;688140 said:And the truth is I am merely answering your question, and providing more info as all would. Truth again that many questions about OMV once asked, the next question would be PI said OMV this or that. I am just trying to answer your question to my best, and as well provide more information for you to consider the car. Maybe the best answer for you would be the M5s that are coming into MA are almost 90% spec up. Today if you walk into Porsche, you find the base price or list price of all cars lower than you would expect, than you spec it up to your liking and you realise, you're paying another 30-40K more. If you walk into Ferrari, it would be 100k or more.
Its a sharing forum. Everyone comes in here to share, just like I do. Before working there I am a BMW owner and forum member myself, still am infact. While I do not deny I am working for MA, I do not actively promote it as well. Many members here were my friends before I even started selling cars. My purpose has always been to provide info, and if you need more help, visit us at the showroom and look for one of us. If you prefer me, drop me a text, I can provide you the softcopy brochure as well as the spec list which would be helpful.
Do pm me if you need more detailed information Buddy, I'll try to provide you the best possible anwers, or atleast the best I know of.![]()

digress a bit to bring the point across...take for example, real estate..everyone knows how much the developer bought that piece of land and analysts scramble to guestimate their breakeven and eventual selling price... i mean do these analysts really know how much the developer paid for their construction costs etc? always lower than estimates and we wont actually know their actual fat profit margin. so end of day, so long as u feel good buying that condo/landed and u can actually see the quality of fittings..do you really care about their breakeven costs? so long as within market range, everyone is happy...of cos..developer will be laughing away to their mountain high cash bank. =D
imo, after sales service matters the most to me.
