Euro plates.....

i ordered these plates... wonder if those are legal....

i know raptureM3 got caught for europlates before..but it was wrong colour and not wrong font nor euro background.....

anyone has more info about its legality in singapore? or are there even laws about euro plates in singapore?

Ha, europlates are nice. I've comtemplated on buying a pair too after seeing Rapture has it. About its legality, i've tried emailing LTA asking about it but then their reply are as good as not replying. Trying to beat around the bush or something. I'm also interested to know about its legality in Singapore

but weird..the letter LTA gave to rapture was 'wrong colour' and they actually caught him for wrong colour and did not say anything about font or plate... the officer actually said if he used yellow for the rear..its fine..

well if that was what the officer said, ask alex to get his name, u get stopped .. then u just tell him that u were told that it was ok. So far Alex has been running around s'pore with it, no problems... so go do it then. EVEN IF u get caught, pay the 70 and take that as a lesson learnt, heh... hope this helps.

its illegal. i had it done the normal color - white no on black plate, kena 70 bux fine for the font. like shaaz mentioned, since its done put it on & keep your fingers x & hope not to receive any lta letter in your mail box. gd luck.

well, if u get caught... jus find a nice corner at hm & hang on the wall.

If they stop you, pay the $70 fine. Take it as tax for having a more unique license plate. Just keep paying the $70 until you have enough fun.

i dun get it...

hey doc, i did asked & was told that the font is too small, wtf?? for clarity sake, i asked why certain carmade can have them on 'factory fitted' and her reply was 'oh, we already sent letter to inform cars/cars &VW owners that its illegal'

i mean... can see means can see !!!

so i guess all the TP in europe have got better eyesight than us............. cos they can see smaller font but we cant?

I thot as long as the fonts are big enough , the front plate is white based, rear is yellow based then it's legal?.....

The font must also be some old British Standard... the new Euro fonts not approved. Got letter from LTA...

$70 poorer.
