ESS supercharger
I used to have the ESS TS2 on my M54 engine. It added about 100 horses and boosted the low end torque significantly. Peak torque is reached at 2200rpm and that that makes daily driving a breeze. Overtaking is effortless and the automatic gear seldom need to kick down in D-mode. Power is instantly available whenever you demand for it. There is some high pitched whine that you will need to get used to. On NSH, you can feel the constant pull when you slam on the gas.
It is also interesting to note that the engine runs cooler than stock. The ESS TS2 is very reliable with no issues, other than it's need to change the drive belts every 20K km and to check/top up your SC oil if necessary.

Thanks for the reply bro! Was checking their website but unfortunately they don't have anything for my engine at the moment except for a reflash. Trying to see what other options are there. I know arma has one but I've read about some scary experiences for some owners and the reliability issues worries me.

yes, indeed.....
try upgrade the handling: Coilover, Swaybar and BBK.....( confirm you will enjoy your ride further )

oh yes, rear spoiler not very nice to me....
anyway spoiler is meant to be spoilt otherwise it will not be called Spoiler.....

Had a nice chat with BV autos Bernard and unfortunately, I bought the z4 with the shittiest engine to work on -_-. Apparently no mods whatsoever for the magnesium block other then arma who has actually spent time working on it. Seems my only option is to have a ecu reflag and do up the exhaust and try to maximize the NA potential of it. Feeling a bit bummed out now but I guess it's no biggie. Guess it'll be a nice weekend cruiser after all!
