Electric seats button no working?

there are 2 areas where we can control the electric seats on my E82...
1. 2 knobs at bottom side to toggle for the seating part and the other for the back rest part
2. 2 arrow buttons on the higher part of the seat near the head rest area...

However I realise that the buttons on the passenger side on top is not working. The knobs below r working fine. What could be the issue as I believe the motor is working fine since the seat can be adjusted normally using the knobs on the lower area.

Yes.. They worked..
Read the manual n I think it says those buttons on top works only while door is opened. Going to try tat
