E92 M3 Engine

Re: E92 M3 Engine

CaySman, what's literage? Why unfair?

Doesn't matter whether related to my industry or not.. that wasn't the point of my asking. At some point are you not going to attend a meet up or a trackday and have to introduce yourself? Why the secrecy? :D

huh... missed out the part you said `external displacement' lol... otherwise I'd have got it .

I'd meet you at the track meetups under my real name. No sense linking it to the caysman moniker. The secrecy is because, there are some fat cats I cannot tolerate on this board, like some of those who are contributing static and blowing their fat lard trumpets, whose condescending attitudes hide their utter ignorance. The proverb `speak softly but carry a big stick' doesn't apply to them. They are here merely to show off, fat lardballs.

At some time within the next few weeks, I'd have run out of patience and start blasting their fat arses. Just to let it off my chest. And the anonymity is not to save my own butt, as I have nothing much to fear myself, but looking at the way some members (or ex-members) in this board were treated, these poor sods got their children threatened, their jobs belittled. The fat arses who lurk around this board giving their condescending comments, they're rabble rousers all of them, and I'd not like to take unjustified flak from a mob.

So, I hope I can keep up the patience, but ... looks like I'd really enjoy frying those bums who would like us to think of them as rich fat cats (not talking about you, Shaaz, you're a real wonderful geek) ...

Re: E92 M3 Engine

Know who you mean, and they're all talk so don't worry. They're unhappy or bored, maybe stuck in their current situation so that's all they can do. Don't let them get to you. If my children were threatened, I'd call the cops on them just to give them trouble.

I don't think there can be much, if any, anonymity in SG, esp with all the hints you've dropped about yourself.

Re: E92 M3 Engine

That engine comes in many Australian built GM cars. It's "ok" i suppose, but yes, good for modding as it's a fairly old platform and many aftermarket parts and mods can be done. The new LS7 in the C6 vette is niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I saw some pics of the poropsed C7/C8 vette the other day, Des you would cream for sure.
The original GM peformance LS7 has been around for many many years, in the iron block and heads form. The go these day for big blocks is the 572 crate motor, drool.

I'm guessing Caysman is a Pom, I'm an Aussie, so does this mean i get to talk cricket? As Long as you dont talk rugby,we will be fine!! haha

Re: E92 M3 Engine

I'm talking specifically LS7, not the previous LS1s, LT1s, or other small blocks. The LS7 is very different, especially headwise

Re: E92 M3 Engine

Yeah mate, i know. I mean the original LS7 is a 454 cubic inch deal. The new one in the vettes is vastly different than that. The new one is "ripe" for hp gains with simple mods. They should be really detuned from factory to meet smog requirements. I reckon they are a good thing. Maybe not "as good" as possibly a euro V8 is, but good all the same

Why risk getting banned by doing that? Take it easy and chill, unless of course you wanna register another new nick again after getting banned to start afresh

Phil, for some strange reason i like Corvettes... i am sure the new C7/C8 will be a step in the right direction as well... I would love to have a 572 crate man but oil prices nowadays???

how can you tell caysman is a pom? you is good...

Re: E92 M3 Engine

some strange reason? are you crazy? It's becasue you have TASTE, hello. I would kill for an early vette. Even an 80's model as daily driver would be ok. But a C5 onwards, niceeeeeeee
yeah, i want a 572 as well, the hi perf big comp one. Good for 700hp i think? I know a guy with one in his boat, instant 110mph out of the crate, nice.
Come to Aus with me one day, can play with as many vettes as you want, i have lobang for that sort of stuff. 572 oso can

Re: E92 M3 Engine

phil, i will take you up on your offer one day... I was actually toying of buying a 1963 corvette stingray back while I was in the US, but the thought of having to maintain it was too much for me... I also needed air con...

the 80s vettes were rubbish... too plasticky and gimmicky... starting from the c5s they were designed to be performance machines...

i said strange reason is because I was the only Asian guy in my whole town to own a C5 vette... all my friends thought I was mad to buy an American car at that time...

Re: E92 M3 Engine

yes i agree, the 80's models suck, plus they have that retarded 305 engine, yuk. but it's a good buy, good bang for your buck in Aus. Right hand drive ones could get for around 25k, for a good one
If you got a big block 63, i could never talk to you again, hahaha.

If I were living in the USA, I would buy a Corvette Z06 just for an EXPERIENCE owning the legendary vette. Not because it is the best car, but it is the best value for money, and light as can be. For the money, i'm betting it will not disappoint. And it's beautiful car!

A pom, you say! I guess your hunch is well grounded, but it still astounds me, what! I'm not English, but if there's anything which gave you that impression, perhaps it's because i've had too much exposure to my monolingual wife.

Re: E92 M3 Engine

Yes i agree with you, they are good value cars

I assumed you are as you stated "Americans like to bash English" or something similar, i forget exactly, haha. So i assumed your were a pom. Now that you are not, is kinda annoying, I have no one to piss off about the cricket!! haha

Guess what? Suddenly they became much nicer people! And if you're hinting that I am one of your old banned guys, you're only partially right. He reg'd this for me because few months back we were so pumped up on getting the Z4 SI coupe, he reg'd an account here for me so that I could post and ask. Since then sometimes he'd post under the same account.

By the way, tha above para with the `we' word sounds gay, so let me clarify, I'm not gay.

don't have to bash them so much. They're now the worst team EVER to have played test in the international arena. EVER. Keeping quiet about it would hurt more than bashing them, you know the english.... always ready to respond ot jibes, but a lack of it kills them.

Re: E92 M3 Engine

Yes, but they are always quick to remind me about the rugby, so even stevens!
Mate, i'm not fat, am streamlined, less wind resistance!!

uh oh, Caysman is another gay, the only gay in the village?
