E90 -- Steering Control

Re: E90 -- Steering Control

High fuel consumption of my 323i may be due to travel in short distance most of the times. Full tank can get about 300km. My E39 520i possible to get 340km with full tank. 323i still heavier than my E39 520i about 10%.

HRF syndrome? :) Even with the short travel, 5km/l++ is quite excessive..?

wow...300km on a full tank with stock engine. i think this is some crazy mileage. on a supercharged car, it is possible. maybe u shld sent it in the pml and ask them to do some checks.

300km per tank is really a bit off......

Bro Tohro1: You are most welcome. Just tot is good to share....

323i Consumption: I have been driving my 323 for 4mths. Consumption not as bad as described. I got full-tank mileage ranging from 380km to 410km. about 6.9km/l to 7.1km/l from the control console.

Re: E90 -- Steering Control

From my console and calcuation, it is about 7.8km/l based on my first month of driving. 2300 km mileage now. Not a gentle driver. I find this consumption high for 2.5l engine. On 18" M-Tech rims.

Re: E90 -- Steering Control

I have been driving my 323 for 5 months and it averages 7.4 km/l. A full tank usually give me 410 to 420 km.

I changed the rims to M star spoke 193 ( 18" ) from PML for my 323i with 225 tyres infront and 255 tyres at rear. It was perfectly ok except FC slightly heavier aroung 5.8km/litre.

hi, i am thinking of changing the same rim at pml and could u let me know how much it costs? i remembered the $ is about $6k+ ... btw, i am driving a 320 and wonder how bad would the fc be. may i know what is your fc before u changed the rims? thanks.
