E90 LCI halogen to xenon conversion

Hi Guys,

Unsure if this topic had been discussed before.
I am planning to change my halogen headlights to xenon.

Reading from forums, found out that it is not a plug and play and there are some footwell coding and wiring involved.

I bought my 2009 318i (LCI) last January and I hope to have the xenon experience on it.

Asked around and it seems like the total cost including labor is ard $2.5-2.8k

Question 1 - is it worth the money and trouble?
Question 2/3 - anybody who has done this conversion before?
Can recommend your Workshop?
Question 4 - is replacing with aftermarket headlamps like depo or the ones from ebay better?

Any recommendations?

do you drive at night very often if not save it for new tyres..........

just go Bimshop to upgrade all to White light will do..........then on angel eyes with fog light can already............
