get an outside workshop to check better.
get a service report and see if anything needs repairing.
then u go to bmw to do a check.
they probably tell u everything ok and if that differs from workshop report, show em.
ask them to rectifiy everything before your warranty really expires
asking PML to do pre-warranty expire check, at least for me is a joke.....ask the other brothers who have feedbacked to them abt problems b4 their warranty expired....keke

Second that.
I just sent my family's 740 to an external workshop to do a pre-warranty check in May, and turns out many engine parts needed replacement. Book an appointment with PML Alexandra, tell them to run a check on the faulty parts, and they replaced the parts accordingly.
Definitely the top of your priority list as it makes selling your ride in the near future easier too.

Actually i also doubt that whether PML will do a check on it or just pocket the money without doing any check and end of the day just say everything is OK. because i think 2nd and 3rd year is warranty by PML and not BMW itself right??
Any bro here intend to send their car outside to check, please share which workshop is good.
I know one at tanjong katong Mobil station workshop. they most service MB car and sometime i saw they also service BMW.

I did my last service at Alexander workshop, the charge for vehicle inspection for 3rd year is $132.
My advisor was Anthoney Lim and i told him to replace whatever that is still under warranty and needs to be change. I was then told to come back in 5 days time.
When i got back the car and saw the repair order, there were 30 items listed, from the standard services to replacing sealing, radiator, coolant thermostat, water pump and misc. Most of it were cover under the warranty. Final bill was less then $400.
I hope that this is the standard service given to all owners when their cars is at the end of the 3 years warranty. Wish you all well.

3 questions like to check with you,
1) are you able to share with us what are the other parts they replaced for you ? (so that i know what to demand also
)
2) since its like 30 items, your car was down for 5 days in total ? Need to plan for my downtime .. ( i assumed PML won't be so nice to provide replacement car ... )
3) how come your damage work out to be around $400 ? Is it because of standard services included such as oil change/ oil filter ?

I do not know anything about cars so i am at the mercy of the advisor.

Hi Leelee,
Do you have any idea which service centre is Good. I always sent my car to East Coast centre and near to my house.
As my warranty expire end of Dec. Mostly i will only sent in for inspection on Nov as i still got 6k mileage to go before next servicing.
My Mileage now is about 45k

Anyone has experienced in doing the pre warranty inspection outside of PML? Which workshop will provide a good detailed report types so can get PML to fix....

I read from here, mostly it take 2 ~ 3 days to do the inspection check. No i got some doubt whether they do the check on my car.
Anyone here have done the inspection check within a day???
