Hi Bros, Thinking of buying the E90 320i at 124.8K, just wanted to check if there will be any facelift soon or engine upgrading in the next 1 year.

Pretty good price comparing with IS250 at 135K as normally IS price are sitting below 320i

Thanks for your advise.

Cheers

Re: E90 320i

if budget wasnt an issue...get the 323i... at least its 6 cyl...nicer to drive...

Re: E90 320i

hi, pml selling at e90 320 at $124.8k now ? is this after loan rebate? or it incorporates some kind of installment requirements ?

Re: E90 320i

124.8k, so low? must be after minusing the cash rebates if u take up their high interest rates..

whats the % they gave u?

Re: E90 320i

Hi, I was quoted 124.8K nett (139.8K -15K overtrade). Interest rate with rebate is 3.5% and 6% rebate on the loan amount (minimum 70% for 7 years). 2.88 if without rebate.

I think today PML advsetise 20K overtrade......

Thanks

Re: E90 320i

Sorry bros forget to add that 124.8K is nett before loan rebate, pretty attractive

Cheers

Re: E90 320i

good deal ... if omv at $43k and coe at $18k, total cost of car with road tax is already $121k! this means pml only made $3.8k for the sale. the lowest of all in the car industry ! even mazda 3 earns more than this amount of profit. is there a catch? if everything correct, better grab it fast ...

The newer engine with a higher hp of 170 against the current 150 should be within the next month or so. So if the 20hp with the reduction in consumption doesn't bother u too much, then go ahead since i suspect that there may be a slight price revision in view of the changes.

The entire E90 range should be getting the engine revision within the next few month so the decision is yours...

cheers

Re: E90 320i

Thanks Piggyboyz for the advise and kind of feel that the price is really too good and ethere you go a newer engine is on the block. I may wait for the new facelift and engine with 170hp which is close to the E46 320i inline 6 engine.

Regards

Re: E90 320i

Hi 22,

Good decision. wait for the new engine, 20hp more, worth the wait. Furthermore, if you bought the older engine, value will drop once new engine surface.

if possible, get the 6 pots......more mod potential and sound sweeter, silky smooth which 4 pots can not compare too. thx

Eh? Was quoted IS250 at $126k, clean cash price................
Hi Throttle.

I'm a Lexus Sales Consultant of Borneo Motors. I think you were quoted the price of $126k many months back?

Yup the current price of the IS250 is now $135k nett. But there's still some overtrade to talk about la.. :)

Re: E90 320i

$124k before rebates is a really low price! must be the double whammy of Merc's having a lead plus upcoming change in engine specs thats pushing the prices down. but wonder what price would they bring the new 170bhp to? $10k premium perhaps? by which time a 323 would be more worth it

Re: E90 320i

I was quoted 135K for IS250 which makes me ponder how Lexus is going to sell pricing it above 320I and being so close to 323I???

Re: E90 320i

they started out wanting to squeeze 320 wannabes with the price. then they raised it subsequently to compete with 323, afterall its 2.5 vs 2.5ltr comparison. honestly, i would buy a lexus only if i'm being chauffered. if i'm driving, then it has to be a bimmer. :D

good point, bro!:)

Re: E90 320i

I believe new facelift is coming soon. Usually there will be a facelift every 3.5-4 years after launch and a new version of "n" series every 7-8 years.
My E90 first batch already 2+ old. new facelift should be here in 1.5 year's time. :)

Thanks for the info. Already got my car and I prefer not to overtrade cos any loan more than 30% of car price give me the jitters.

anyway I have to say that the IS250 is packed jam with everything and is a really good car to drive but as with many Japanese, (no offence to Jap car bros) it somehow lacks an X feeling.
The plastics and make quality has improved but definitely not to the level of contis unfortunately or fortunately. That said, putting the IS250 and the E90 320i would actually bring quite a tough fight.

In fact my personal take could very well be the IS250 if my only other choice is the E90 320i.
But if I put that up against a 323i then it's likely the 323i.

One thing's for sure, I prefer the E90's no nonsense clean cut and masculine interior of good quality and material. It is certainly a notch above the plushier, softer, less handsome IS250's .
And since the interior is where I spend most time with my car, it is as important a deciding factor as the engine or the outlooks.
