How did you know your aircon is leaking gas ?

I went to Motoaire, the boss checked and found my aircon gas left 190g, E90 aircon supposed to be 590g. So he topped up and told me to consider changing my fan coil, due to his experience, confirmed fan coil leaking.

Honestly speaking, I feel its exactly the same. No difference at all. I'm seeking a 2nd opinion when I can find the time. Fan coil is not cheap so I prefer to seek out another person's opinion first before I make the decision for any repairs.

When I did my major servicing ard 120,000km, it costs me about 3grand :/
