E90 320: what is yr fuel consumption

I drive a E90 320 and pump Shell V power or Shell 98. I get average consumption of 7km/l on a mix of 50% highway / 50% city driving. I take ECP mostly but with the increased traffic flow, the average speed there tends to be rather slow at around 40km/h. I am wondering why my fuel consumption is still very high? Was told that average should be around 9km/l? Has anyone done better fuel consumption?

FC has a lot to do with avg speed. If you are always stuck in town traffic, you will get poor figures, whatever car you are driving. I get about 7.5km/litre on my 520i, and 11km/l on my wife's IS250, avg speed 40km/h.

mine is on V Pwr all the way and OBC states 9.1 km/l. 60% hwy 40% city. ride is about 1.5 mths old. Hope that helps..

I clocked an amazing 10.5km/l on my last tank using Mobil 8000. Avg speed on the OBC is 38km/h. I do 70% highway. Prior to this i was doing 9.7km/l and 9.2km/l. My car's only 2 weeks old. Seems to be getting better.

Are you on stock 16" tires ? It would be ard there .. 10.5 - 10.7 km/l based on 70% highway.
After changed to 18", fc will drop to ard 9.4 to 9.7 . That's what i'm getting now.

I'm getting 9.6km/L using Techron Platinium. Using 18" and with Sprint Booster installed. Anybody feedback on V Power?

Bros, then it seems like mine is below avg- 18" rims and light footed. hmmm shall try caltex plat to see if any improvement. Cheers.

It was known that engine oil has impact on your FC.
