Just had my car serviced. Routine servicing at a Site-sponsor.

I think PML cheaper.... but PML must take one day. Site-sponsor did it in 45 mins.

Something is wrong if outside workshops charge higher than PML (applies to all agents' workshops) otherwise must be deemed as a big chye tao to the workshop liao.

Previous service at PML: About $280

Service at MA: About $230

Service at MA with own oil: about $100 (includes filter, washer etc). So plus Giant oil $9.90 x 7... Total about $180 got change.

How do you find the 50 wt oil during driving?

What were the oils used and what flush/additives? Perhaps post PML and MA receipts to compare like for like.

If outside workshops give extra flush/additives (brand of engine oil also affects the costing) than PML then the bill seems okay to me.
However, gay Lek will say that is value added service! $$$ well spent.

last time i used J4C. i also thought they not cheaper than pml all the time. never really tried to find out. but then i thought ok they r professional about many things...so peace of mind counts.

but more importantly i was telling myself. ai ya sua la. drive bmw dont count every penny. end up look sibei ugly. if i wanna be cat cunt cat cock...i better dun drive bmw...many other alternatives. let people see buay simi steady. cho lang must da fang a bit.

if difference not big and u get it done within an hour, even before u can finish ur kopi, char bee hoon and smoke, then money well spent.

I went to Boss b4 to change and also thot not cheap but the above happened to me, wasted my bee hoon and kopi and never got the chance to even smoke. Finish early, get back ur car fast, can then go other places look see look see, like rims and then spend more money.
