Those BMW maps just cannot make it. Not updated.

Is it possible to use other maps?

What are the options?

How old is yr edition? The one I have is quite good. The only way of upgrade is to purchase the new edition from PML, approx $1k.

generally not as updated as those available outside. latest i have 07 still no KPE or even the Tampines viaduct.

my car is feb 2008 production. I collect it in April 2008. But i do not know what year edition.

i guess it just cannot be compared with malsing map where it is updated by many people.

I believe I have the latest 2008 version, but I am driving in the desert according to my map when I am using Petir Road from Dairy Farm Road. This road has been opened at least 2 years.

No buildings, no petrol stations, no ERP gantries, no speed cameras, and roads missing - and it costs around $1k for an updated version? Scandalous.

that sux man!
i was gonna put aftermarket GPS using my non idrive screen. other than the fact that it cost $3000, i gotta use a remote control to work around the menu & input address etc.

bought a Garmin 205W from the states. about $380. can't be happier

When did you get your car? I believe that THAT is the latest edition, which is not so the 'latest'. Anyone with a 3er or 5er with GPS can confirm they have a later edition, like a 08 one?

ride is Jan 2007... for 325...

u think idrive nav can read DVD-R??? wink wink
