e46 uses what foglight bulb??

My brother has a E46 2004 330ci with M bumper in Europe and he wish to change to those projector ones(aftermarket) but he is not sure the projector one uses which kind of bulb eg: H1, H7?? Any kind soul could enlighten? Saw on the net mostly are using HB4 for stock bulbs and wondering if its possible to convert it to fit H1 HID kit as he intend to replace it with HID as well for the fogs.

Bro to replace to HID fogs, i think can only use H3...
