E46 M Steering Wheel w Paddles and M Gear Knob conversion

Hi Bros,
I am trying to figure out the means to convert my e46 FL steering wheel (now M3 wheel with CF panel but w/o paddles) and gear knob (existing stock wood print type) to the M (SMG II?) type steering wheel with paddle shifts and gear knob with gear selection indications on the knob ( very short knob) type.

Bascially the exact config as Jinooi's :wavey: car .

Your advice will be greatly appreciated as i was unable to search for this related info on the forum.

dude, you will need to get an M3 steering wheel with paddle shift - quite rare out there, but not impossible.

the gear knob is the M-sports gearknob, also rare, but the last i heard, mike has them.

once you manage to get these 2 things, the installation can be done quite easily.

and look for subzero to help you install. he has some tricks up his sleeve...

Friend, considering the state i'm in (looking gear and steering conversions, and exos) after looking at your car, I am not sure if i want to see more cars of your kind for the sake of my wallet......times aren't exactly good nowadays you know

Kopi is still within my budget.....why did you think i offered that and not a meal? Tee hee....

Or perhaps i should go to the meet up as some bros with your type of kits may be looking at demodding before their new cars arrive....

Yup I got mine from Mike previously. Even with Subzero's mod on the paddle shift, the gear knob still works beautifully. I only regret not getting it earlier!

May just do that this week. Will have to bring along a pail to collect my drool after viewing all your cars. Been there and done that with Jin's car though. See you there if I decide to go and if my wife allows and if my kids are not going for CCAs and if there is nothing on telly and if i decide to go and if.....and....etc.
