E36 Upgrades?

Greetings Singaporean Bimmerians.

My car is pretty much stock standard.

I got the car in April 2007. The first few months of my ownership was very traumatic.

I am currently enjoying my ride. Since I have decided to keep my car for anor 3 years or so, I was wondering what kind of upgrades can I do?

I have decided to get 16" or 17" rims but since my tires are still very new, I may only change the rims sometime next year. Anyway I am on the lookout for a good deal.

I shall be servicing my car in a couple of months.

(i)Thinking of iridium apark plugs. Some swear by them others say its snake oil, what do you guys think?

I understand that a set of 6 Iridium plugs cost RM250. The normal plugs cost me RM60. Are the plugs really better or do they only last longer?

(ii)KNN drop in filter, another hotly debated topic.

(iii)Suspension, well my absorbers are new Bilstein Black so Eibach spring + Yellow Bilsteins are out for now (maybe I;ll try them on my next car.)

(iv)What abt Eibach Anti Roll Bar Kit vs MTECH/M3 Anti Roll Bar?

How does it suit standard absorbers?

(v) What about strut bars?

it depends on whether you want to mod to improve performance, handling, or aesthetics.

haha, bro, don't bother with the S'pore Motorshow (in my opinion).

absolute waste of time! bloody joke if you ask me. the bigger car brands are seldom represented. might as well spend time surfing the web - free and from the comfort of your home.

save your money and travel to japan instead. the annual autosalon there is mind blowing! happens in Jan.

even the shows in australia are better than what we have here.

ultimate motorshows are in frankfurt and geneva...

how about we meet halfway? in KL?

we can plan a drive up and you can gather some of the bmw club members from m'sia...

improve cross border relations... kekeke...

yea KL is good. i want to go KL for parts shopping. Sam say the bmw stuff in KL is more then we can even afford to buy. Just whether we bring enough dough to spend

(i)KNN drop in filter : GO FOR IT. I m also using.

(ii)Suspension, well my absorbers are new Bilstein Black so Eibach spring + Yellow Bilsteins are out for now (maybe I;ll try them on my next car.) : H&R or eibach lowering spring

(iii)What abt Eibach Anti Roll Bar Kit vs MTECH/M3 Anti Roll Bar? Save the $$$ for other mods 325 anti roll bar should be good enough as I m using it.

(iv) What about strut bars? UTR or UR from Malaysia should be able to do the job.

(iii)Suspension, well my absorbers are new Bilstein Black so Eibach spring + Yellow Bilsteins are out for now (maybe I;ll try them on my next car.) since you have the bilstein dampers, go for the eibach springs dude.

(iv)What abt Eibach Anti Roll Bar Kit vs MTECH/M3 Anti Roll Bar? just get a normal and cheap one to fit behind the car, maybe ultra racing? don't have to be branded.

(v) What about strut bars? for strut bar, get the ultra racing in malaysia. since you live there. it's cheap and good.
