Dear all,

Please advise which front speaker should I choose if I am looking for clarity and good bass.

Dynaudio 240 GT or DLS UP6 ?

How much power is needed to power these Front Speaker.

Thanks in advance :)

DLS is easier to powerup.

Dyna needs at least 150rms per channel...if not dun even bother.

However for clarify wise....the Dyna will beat the DLS hands down.

Hi ! Ghostrider.

Based on specification, DLS UP6 need 150W RMS / 180W Max also :(

For 2 Channel amp that pump 150W RMS x2 will easily cost S$1.3K above. Am I correct ?

Do you have any good amp to recommend which offer 150W RMS x 2 and cost less then S$800 ?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi ! Ghostrider.

If I am using Audioson LRx 2.250 (2 x 120W at 4 Ohms) to drive Dynaudio is not enough.

Can I bridge to 2 Ohms to get 2 x 210W and drive the Dynaudio speaker ?

Sorry this may be a stupid question, I am confused with different Ohms and different RMS power :(

Based on my previous experience with DLS, its not power hunger like Dyna. But I have no experience with the model that you mentioned.

Normally people ddun bridge the power to play mid drivers....only bridge for subs.

Layman rule is that lower your ohms and double the power.

I installed the UP6 in my car and its showing very smooth high frequency playback. Its good for Jazz,Chillout and especially vocal music. If u are into dance music or rock, it still can deliver but u need to tweak the mids to deliver the harmonics of the music. I am happy with the sound.

Ridge Racer,

Did u do any sound proofing for ur panels when u installed ur DLS UP6.

Any vibrations?
