Driver side passenger door will not unlock!

Any bros encounter this before?

Locking system perfectly okay and auto lock all doors after moving off. But when turning off engine & getting off from car, that one door just refuse to unlock itself. Seems like the lock pin goes in and can't seem to come up. Have to manually open from the itself. Child lock was not activated.

Checked with workshop and they mentioned that the entire lock system needs a change. Damage around $300. Just wanna check if anyone faced such issue before and is it just a simple change of a sensor?

door actuator faulty? Perhaps you can check with other workshops for opinion. Try getting the parts from Eng Soon and pay labour? Could be cheaper? But then again, labour can be more expensive than the parts.

Had this problem once. Started from front driver door and problem extend to rear door (behind driver). First is to check if the fuse is blown. If fuse ok, changing the actuator is few hundreds. Perhaps if car is not that new, recond set replacement might be an alternative.

I have a problem with the passenger seat in front.. remote doesnt lock or unlock. its all done manually. never got down to check how much for repairs.. too lazy
