Recently found out when go car wash or heavy rain, water start sipping from the bottom of front door, suspect is the door seal...
Any bro experience that on your PFL 320i?

How old is your ride? Do u park in the hot sun often? The rubber seal could have warped or cracked. Just do a check.

Is a 2006 E90, everyday on the move, no sign of harden, found a slight torn but is not where the water sip from...

Re: Door Seal?

It could be the wool/foam thingy (dunno what to call it) within the door panel in bad condition liao thus couldn't prevent the water seeping pass it (water will flow out the door thru holes underneath if can stop water penetrating thru the wool).

I had similar problem.. Most probably cause by spray painter when they anyhow remove (read tear) the wool from the door when spraying my ride thus damaging it, almost torn into 2 pieces.

Went to audio shop to replace with soundproofing materials (damage around $150 for both front doors depending on types & brands), consider problem solved (touchwood), water didn't seep in when i drove during the last heavy down pour.

Hope this is correct, cheers.

I did mine at an audio shop at Toh Guan, but most audio shop should have similar soundproof materials.

The existing wool was removed & replaced with the soundproof material, took slightly more than 30mins to complete as i wasn't in a rush that day. PM should you wish to have the contact, not sure can post here bo.....
