Feel sorry for the woman but kind of dumb as well ........ She should have let the leash go.
It almost happened to my own dog when my daughter brought the dog out. Similar situation except that my daughter let the leash go and this allowed it to slide through the crevices of the lift doors. And not enter into a tug of war with a moving lift.
Very sad.

A lot of selfish people living in high rise units that quickly press the "door close" button the moment they enter the lift to have the lift all to themselves. This could be one of them. Or a maid who was busy talking/sexting to her bf on the phone and going back after dog-walking duties.
Serves her right but pity the innocent dog. They should have swapped places.

Most likely jammed by the broken leash cos the leash can't be that long from ground flr to 3rd flr
And the picture shows the GR hanging from the top of the lift door. Poor GR... if only someone was
outside the lift
