Does current 325 have N53 Engine?

Does the current 325i (pre-facelift) have the N53 Engine with High Precision Injection?

Does the N53 offer better torque and fuel efficiency than the N52?

Since the N53 no longer has the valvetronic feature, does the N52 have some advantage over it?

Depending on the prod year..the N53 was released in 07 prod cars, both the N53B25 and B30

And both engines feature Gasoline Direct Injection

For the B25, the power is about the same at 215bhp but the Tq on N53 is bout 20Nm more over the N52.

As for fuel efficiency, we know the Valvetronic was very efficient vs the predecessors such as M54 models and this GDI takes it to another level for better combustion...better torque n power as a result

Found out current PML 325's still using the N52 engine. Wonder if the upcoming facelifted 325 will have the N53?

quite possible I reckon..
btw, i read somewhere that says this N53 wont be available for some mkts like US n Australian, not sure if it's affecting Spore.
