Re: difference between MAN's muffler and branded muffler?

i havent got advice from MAN's but everytime i go his advices seems to want me to spend more and more money lol..the thing is i dont know how it would sound when i havent remove either cats/resonator/muffler..bro ken330's advice is to remove cats of all other choices because he said it adds more performance then removing either of the muffler or resonator..reason why i only want to remove either one is to not have too irritating loud sound if not would have done a straight through that one 2 blks away TP also will come lol..any other comments bros?

but bro if i would summarise are you trying to say that people spend the extra couple of hundreds for branded instead of MAN's because of the cert? if thats the case why is eisenmann so famous and wanted by all but instead no cert and not approved?

Re: difference between MAN's muffler and branded muffler?

Let me fathom a guess why some people chose to get from 'branded' suppliers.

1. Better made. Sometimes look like approved one.
2. Trial and error done at the supplier end. You choose the exhaust 'note' based on the sound you want to hear :)
3. Have some resale value if you want to offload later

If you get the 'kampong' version, you will certainly be doing (2) yourself and may end up spending more before you get the desired 'note' and/or performance.

Best of luck on how you spent your $$ :)
