Do take note under no circumstances there can be personal arrangements between employer and employee. I once had a employee who sign an agreement in black and white that he wanted his cpf in cash. years later he reported to cpf and the board made me repay him in cash for the total cpf contribution for the said period of employment. BOTH employer and employee portion with interest. Simi LJ letter also don't count because CPF is between employer and cpf board. Very painful lesson
