Cost of wheel alignment

Hi all,

Performance Motors wants to charge $400 for a wheel alignment which costs alot less at Stamford. The bloke at BMW reckons it's a 4 hour swanky job as compared to some "crappy" alignment performed by anywhere else. Howe true is this? How much does a wheel alignment cost in Singapore? Thanks for your input and I apologize in advance if it's an ignoramus question on this forum.

i remember paying 80 bucks at kian teong auto (sin ming) for mine.
they used the hunter software system, came back with the alightment reports and adjustments.
400 bucks sounds kinda ex. might as well go stamford or wherever and use the difference saved for drinks or mods....hehe.

Yeah they seem to charge more than a hooker..!!

So I gather from your replies that BMW here is pretty much full of s***. Point taken..

Btw, are there any warranty issues with using a workshop other than BMW here? The car is still under the warranty.

Yeah I thought so but wasn't sure how much such things cost in Singapore so thought I would check you guys here. Thanks!

Kenny wheel alignment. Around $70. 45 min to 1 hr. Highly recommended.

4 hrs? Maybe 3.5 hrs play guitar then 30 mins to do the alignment.

They took 1.5 weeks to take a look at rattling sound of my boot, even so, problem unresolved.

Ah wee from BVO took 1 hr, fixed completely.

i've had my alignment done at Kian Teong and Stamford... both of them used the laser alignment... with Kian Teong giving a printout of the alignment settings....

Takes bout 30mins - 45mins to finish up everything

talking abt alignment, time for me to visit them too.

Doo, my advice is go for stamford or even kian teong.
u can do at least 5 times alignment with what pml is quoting u.
or maybe u can pay the 400 bucks n tell the fella u wanna watch them do the "alignment". lets see how they tahan the wayang for 4 hrs.

Just did my wheel alignment at Kian Teong, Mike, last Thurs. Cost me 1hr and S$60.

He told me that during the Super Imports Nights from Nov 8-11, they are displaying a booth there with wheel alignments being done at a good price and they are also having package deals as well.

U can check with Mike!

Ya haha wayang for 4 hrs, im interested to watch also. ask the SA to perform too.
Pay $400 bucks u can see a 3hr jam session with drummer, bassist and all.

Go with Kian Teong or Kenny....

OT abit, talking abt super import nights......just saw em put up 2 cars in front of the Link Hotel (Tiong bahru flat refrubished into hotel) as promo, 1 evo n 1 wrx i think.....nice sia....hehe
