Hi Robin,

My SE told me that there were 30 program discount cars sold as part of the fleet for the Energy Congress, and there are 4 cars left which are existing stock with additional discounts that is Mar 12 or earlier.
i suppose yours shd be new shipment.
Must be exciting, how long do u have to wait ?

I also just confirmed my purchase yesterday. Initially wanted to cancel deal as had to top up quite a bit based on loan approved and didn't thought it was worth it after my downpayment and trade in, informed SE wanted to cancel deal, formed sign and send back to PML, SE called me back few days later offered me close to $0 top up, to get deal through.

SE told me reason for more discount is due to PML trying to clear Mar manufactured cars as they are trying to clear earlier stocks. Not sure how true. Hope mine isn't one of those fleet cars as cars4fun has said.

Dun think yours is the fleet car, it is likely the mar 12 and earlier batch of cars, my SE told me the last of these were just sold out today too.
Btw, what colour did u choose?

The one i bought my SE told me is manufactured in March 12, so now i have doubts. I bought the sapphire black.

Sapphire Black is nice, but I am concerned abt up-keeping the exterior, though I am owning a white ride now, I think black is even more challenging.
Why have doubts?

because i'm not sure if i'm having one of those fleet cars, SE told me clearing march manufactured cars stock, but could be the fleet cars they trying to clear. So essentially if mine is one of those cars, i'm paying new car prices for a used cars, albeit slightly used.

Better clarify with your SE then, though I really think it's just the Mar 12 stock.

Can ask or check on the odometer, fleet car should should have travel more and have more on the odometer compared to new car. When I collected my car there is only 2 digits shown on the odometer. Can't remember exactly though.

when Coe was 90k, list 250k get 25k off but when Coe 80k, list 258k but get 16k off?
So the earlier one is more "worth"?

Most of the event fleets have a reserved fleet on stand-by which are really not used at all. Therefore, if you happened to get 1 with single of low double digits done, it is also new as the cars should all be built within 2012.

No delivered cars come with zero distance done.

There should be no price diff if the manufactured year and registered year is the same.

PML wants to clear off cars that are built in the first quarter of 2012 so as to reduce the risk of carrying forward these batches to 2013 where the price will drop and profit margin slashed.
