As long as they don't try to drive e Forte thinking it performs like a M3

Re: COE related, posted in FB, my new version

a few years back, i can buy probably buy 2.5 - 3 cars in China for the same car in SG.
now i think at least 4 liao.
singapore economy doing well hor but how many can afford? Ministers?
my mindset is still 55k for Vios....to hell with the COE and the smart alecks who tries to control it by cutting supply

Re: COE related, posted in FB, my new version

or kept COE at a fixed price..............thus no need to go bid but buyer max loan is 70%, meaning die die confirm must down 30%.....

cheers

Re: COE related, posted in FB, my new version

the 100% loan n low coe was meant for everyone to be able to own cars, then when everyone buy n drive, roads become congested, then erp increase, then carpark rates increase, then petrol increase, then now coe will finally increase to an unsurpassed level..... so much for the whole "control car population" system.... effective? yes, in $$$ making sense. the next step, pay as u drive via gps system..... where everybody will be affected.....

Re: COE related, posted in FB, my new version

1. car $200K min downpayment is $100K, max loan 10 years

this is also a good yardstick not to overstretch financial commitment for car

Best way to control car population = car purchases must be made in cash only.

Like this, only hitmee can drive car in Singapore.

Re: COE related, posted in FB, my new version

One small way to reduce numbers of drivers on the road is make driving test harder to pass, harder to get license. Better drivers on the roads, less ladies perhaps cos short skirt doesnt help anymore.

Re: COE related, posted in FB, my new version

Hi Guys,

If the car is to drive to its 10th year and you opt to renew COE. Will you lose the parf value (55% of OMV)?

Any conditions if need to renew 5 years or 10 years?

Yes Samuel. All parf value gone the day the car celebrates its 10th birthday.

Whether you continue its life (getting new COE) or scrap, doesn't matter.

Sigh.. so sad...

Don't forget s2k too.

I still remember those days when car purchase need 30% down and or only can take 7 years loan. I guess with the low interest rate now, the COE has to climb then.

Maybe 2014, LTA tweet the formula again.. It has to be inline with their car ownership policy. It just keep changing ya..
