3am. No kidding. Am seriously thinking of clearing carbon... The other cars going up will be an F02, an E65 and a F30 316i (just done the engine run in)... All dreaming of thunderballing it up to Penang faster than a G-string would ride up my ass-crack...

I drive up to kl couple of times a yr and more than once Kena speed trap. I will always try to slip the blue note and its normally readily accepted like visa card. There was once during cny there was a big road block and the conversation between me and the ah bang went something like this...
Bang: friend, speeding lah. 170km/h, where u rushing to?
Me: WHHATT?? cannot be lah. My car cannot go so fast ley (wasn't driving BMW then)
Ah bang: really. You want me to show u the proof?
Me: maybe 120 possible, cannot be so fast la.
Then I pass him license with neatly folded note underneath. He took it and felt the well concealed note.
Me: bang help me please. Give chance...
Bang looks around at the "command centre" where his boss is sitting and turns back.
Bang: friend now cny lah. Market different...
I lan Lan fold another note and say that's all I have left. He take and wave for me to FO.
So from that experience, big operation i suspect also can but be more discreet and observant. I don't think they can survive on salary so how not to don't take?

True story, last time when i drove E30 on NSH heading back to SG, happily overtaking other SG cars at around 140-150, big road block ahead, so all cars slowed down and those i overtook caught up behind me, i got waved off and the cars i overtook all kenna stopped.

I reckon it'll be fun to see how the 316i can keep up with the N55, N54 and N52 powered bigger brothers. Skarly all of us ganna summons except the 316i then sian half half liao

In all my years of driving up, the probability of getting stopped is low. Just take the ticket and accumulate and change your VRN later.
Oh yes, try to not to use your yellow/white plates. Makes the car stand out when parked.

IMHO I don't think keeping up will be a big issue. Especially driving in convoy. Every 5mins and chances are you will be tailing a, lets say E200 or something and that fella is driving at 140 and refuses to Siam for you because left side got many trucks. Not to mention the occasional Mak cik in kancil coming out to thr right lane to overtake lorry. That said I'm only talking from experience to kl. never driven further than that

we were cruising at 160 - 180km/h when we overtook a Polis highway cruiser.... then toto gunned it and became leader of convoy....
no replacement for displacement... sartest ever
