Charge pipe failure

Can't believe after all these years and all the various applications for the N54 and N55 BMW still haven't managed to solve this charge pipe failure issue.

My 21 month old F30 has all of 32,000kms and a moderate dose of throttle last night from about 70km/h caused a charge pipe failure. And all this with a standard BMW tune!

Why can't they develop a long term fix for this without owners having to resort to after market aluminium piping?

... End of rant!

Did you switch to an aftermarket pipe? I just ordered an ER pipe last night as well

I have change to ER CP... good quality ....fits perfectly..

A couple of us already installed the ER one on our F30 n55, good that you ordered one as well, for peace of mind
