Changing from 18" to 19" rims e90

Hi guys i need some advice on changing my rims from 18" to 19". Im driving e90 with stock suspensions. I have a newborn baby so im just wondering if the driving experience would be affected with a 19" rims in terms of comfort and bumpiness. Thanks! :)

Re: Changing from 18" to 19" rims e90

Its subjective.
Some say yes some say no.
Best is you ask your wife or baby's opinion.

Re: Changing from 18" to 19" rims e90

I changed to 19" & feel the ride is not as plush. But I think it's marginal, not uncomfortable or anything like that. I'm actually thinking of sizing down to 18", but only cos I find that I prefer the look of higher sidewall ie. thicker tyres :)

By the way, what rims are you using anyway?

Re: Changing from 18" to 19" rims e90

You will feel the most difference when going over uneven road especially if go over pot holes. When driving over smooth/flat road don't think can feel much difference except maybe slightly higher road noise.

Re: Changing from 18" to 19" rims e90

I'm on 19"...wish I stayed with 18"

For looks, 19" might do the trick. But overall, I feel 18" is the ideal size imho.

Re: Changing from 18" to 19" rims e90

Yes. Max is 18" for looks n comfort.i was on 19". Look 9/10 comfort 5/10. Swop back original. 17" Comfort 8/10 looks 5/10. So 18" shld do the trick
