ceramic brakes

hi bros

am thinking of upgrading my brakes to ceramic types.heard they weight less than half of normal steel brakes.it will reduce a lot of unsprung weight.

modding the brakes is to further improve braking.. Safty!! first time hear ppl mod brake to stay lighter. the amount of weight saved from this mod is like after u PCC, getting rid of sme SEOW. u feel lighter after that? strange.. I oni feel SONG.

You seem like you are trying to put your BMW on bullemia diet. You might as well have bought a Lotus. You would be faster thn superman.

That's what I thought and mentioned in the other thread. There is so many other alternatives.

thats why i wear slippers most of the time than shoe. shoe is heavier, slippers is ligher. how nice if chiobu out there realize this methodology when wearing a bra. with and without one.

If ho2786 is fat, i would laugh at him if i see him. I will then arrange for a Mary Chia session for him and Jack (Dont lie, you said you want to loe weight). Hahaha..I reckon for Ho27886 he can get another 10hp. Jack aleady terminal limit leh..i think only 2 hp. haha..

If u hv any idea of how much ceramic brakes cost ( incl future maintenance ), u will then want to ask the admin to just shut this thread.

I know people make choices in their lives but this one is definitely quite an extreme.
Alot of supercars with ceramic brakes options do not even find many buyers to opt for.

Trust me, u hv done your wheels diet. Those are huge improvement. If u dont believe me..u wait till your RGR go in. U will accelerate and stop alot faster. The handling of the car is surely taken to another level.

as u know i love to play with handling first. I fully support the idea of weight reduction if one wants to hv a little more fun with the car ( not necessarily for tracking but highly applicable to daily driving - save petrol too ......) but we need to be realistic as to how far one should go w/o wasting or compromising other things ......Tul tak?
