Catching the bear

Two men went bear hunting. While one stayed in the cabin, the other went out looking for a bear. He soon found a huge bear, shot at it but only wounded it.The enraged bear charged toward him, he dropped his rifle and started running for the cabin as fast as he could. He ran pretty fast but the bear was just a little faster and gained on him with every step. Just as he reached the open cabin doorBullet Cameras, he tripped and fell flat.Too close behind to stop, the bear tripped over him and went rolling into the cabin. The man jumped up, closed the cabin door and yelled to his friend inside, "You skin this one

For frequent waxing, Optimum Car Wax is great. Very easy application (it's liquid), spray, wipe on, wipe off. I usually apply after a wash and dry the car at the same time. Seems to last long enough, but then my car is ony driven a couple of days weekly.

Optimum's sealant Opti-Seal is pretty good too. easy to apply, cos it flash dries. Prob similar to Zaino? I apply this stuff every 6 months or so. There was once after an application, my car got caught in a heavy downpour and to my amazement it looked cleaner AFTER the rain. The dust washed right off in the rain! No water marks, except on the trunk lid where dirty road water got kicked up.

So for diy grooming, these 2 products are easy to use. And they don't have polishing properties, which i prefer since I just want paint protection and shine, and don't want to risk damaging the clear coat. I purchase thru my mobile groomer, cos i get preferred rates. If you need any help getting them let me know.

Re: car grooming

I try to do it myself once a week and sometimes twice a week. It takes 2-3 hrs and it gives me a great workout.

I use a variety of products. I use Sonax extreme rim cleaner for the wheels (great stuff), then All-armor rim protector and top it off with Duragloss tyre shine.

For the car, I use Duragloss mainly because it works out to be cheaper in the longrun when I can buy them in gallon sized and also free delivery to my home for convenience. I used Sonax and Meguire products before as well and I think in terms of performance they are all about the same. I use Duragloss 901 for car wash, DG 101 for cleaning/polishing, DG enviroshield for Sealant and lastly, DG Aquawax for waxing. For claying, I use Soft99 claybar.

For interior leather, I use Autoglym leather cleaner.

I'd use a professional groomer once a year to rid of water marks / swirls mainly and I specificately look for those who are able to do this job with care. So far, these products have worked for me and easy to use as well... just need time to do it.

Hope the info is helpful.

Re: car grooming

Me too DIY myself... siong but happy after seeing the car shiny... starting from DG 501, slowly become posioned... DIY is addictive once u started...

Now using DG 501 for cleaning & Polishing, Wolfgang sealant 3.0 and Collinite 476 wax, and DG Aquawax as topper/maintenance... Using 3M claybar once every 2-3 mth or when the car surface become rough

Now even buy a Meg DA to play with... currently using Meg Ultimate Compound for surface prep... really addictive... haha

Bcos I got chrome rims, now full of dirt, n was thinking of using some spray type like sonax to remove dirt, is it that good n easy to clean those chrome rims? :ehhh:

Just collected my ride and now looking for groomer who can provide layers of sealant on the new paint.

Re: car grooming

Oh...
So does it mean that the car has already been prepared by them before delivering?
i.e. coating done? Does seem to me cos last night's heavy rain did not leave any possible stain on the paint.

Cheers!

they will prep the car up but only using cheap wax (thick layer of paste wax prob to prevent rusting when car is shipped across the seas) not proper sealant.

i suggest u still bring it to the groomer for a complete protection
