Broquet - Any good?

Re: Broquet - Any good?

Steven, why you so upset if us old dudes get a bit nasty? All good

Herman, think about it, your a smart guy. How can you improve FC and get better performance? Fuel = performance.
What does this thing do? add an additive?

haha Phil is almost right, he only interested on wat can this rod do when he meet Joseph (Sandy Chairman

Re: Broquet - Any good?

wa..
sadded.

still no way to improve FC and at the same time improve performance?

Anyways.. i noob la sorry. What is GreenPlus? haha.

Re: Broquet - Any good?

Herman, modding the engine or intake or exhaust will undoubtably effect FC. Why? Cause of your ears. You hear nice noises, so you press pedal harder. If you drive reasonably sensibly, your FC won't be hit too hard.

Keep your engine in good shape, use good fuel, it will help

Go to UM2 and enquire about greenplus

Re: Broquet - Any good?

well ang moh, i guess its partly my fault for adding fuel to the fire cos i tot it was like a light-hearted joke thingy by Centurion to Kenn. u know me, i rather have ppl toking cars or bmws than quarrelling or finger pointing so i try to add some light-hearted banter to mellow the tensions down there but i guess i sucked at it.

using the broquet as an example, i rather we all go argue over how it works, whether it works for some of us than go turning into something personal. my apologies to Kenn & co if i offended u guys but i dun really meant to do anything of that sort.

phil, maybe u can imagine me as a peace-loving hippee.....Osama loves Bush, Obama loves Clinton, Wong Kan Seng Loves Mas Selamat.....i love my BMW

as for Herman's FC, its pretty normal with his simota....it will get better in a couple of months time when he get used to the sound and stop revving that much with his foot.
kinda like a passing phase for guys who got air intakes like that

You chao turtle red-underwear-wear-outside superman, what has broquet has got to do with my metal rod? :furious:

seriously if for FC is abt driving habits compare to putting Broquet.. so save ur $$$$ la.. unless is huge different.
Ha, you are finally making some sense....this I agree :)

Phil is right bro. Either i) focus on the performance, forget about the costs of petrol; or ii) focus on petrol costs, drive like turtle, like me. [Imagine this real-life incident: Ken driving on 1st lane CTE zooming past, me on 4th lane smelling his exhaust....!! :lol2: ]

Re: Broquet - Any good?

Whahahahaha. He in first lane u in fourth lane still can smell his exhaust...

Exhaust should be peng power eh..haha.

Ya, saw from my rear mirror a nice car, tell my wife: "Quick see, got nice BMW coming....." Wa, before I have the chance to say another word, it zoom past and disappeared into the CTE tunnel. He didn't even give me the chance to see his brembo! :furious: :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Greenplus is a catalyst that enables fuel to burn at a much faster rate as the hydrocarbon chains are broken up which enables oxygen molecules to get around the fuel easier. Thus when your fuel burns, it burns faster thus generating more power. It does not change the octane level of your fuel and so your base fuel must still be used. Doubling the dosage does not increase the power too, so stick to the recommended dosage.

If you drive normally, you will find that you get off the throttle faster as your car revs up faster. Unfortunately, the feeling is addictive and drivers usually go harder .....please don't own up... ha hah.....and this has the nasty effect at the petrol pump. But what the heck? You are driving the ultimate driving machine:cloud9: ? Its not the ultimate shopping trolley.

It is a catalyst and as such, is consumed during the running of the engine. Treatment is 25ml:40L of fuel. And a bottle is $32.

BTW, there is another plus side, becos the fuel burns harder, there is a chance that deposits within the combustion chamber get slowly burned away.

There is a thread on it.

Cheers...

Re: Broquet - Any good?

now thats what i call good info sharing by a vendor....buy Herman buy!!! haha
just kidding...try going easy on the accelerator for a change before u try greenplus...in case u complain dun work.
actually i used something like that before, the car very smooth after adding it....more power i should say fc wise remain unchanged but after a few months dun have that feeling anymore....dunno whether need to topup or something....or whether i got used to that feeling already

Re: Broquet - Any good?

UM2... are u rodney? The person being "worshipped" by phil? ( meant to be a joke )

So what do u do? and where can i get those green plus... does it has any side effects?

Re: Broquet - Any good?

Got side effect...

more money spent.

haha! $.$

Re: Broquet - Any good?

OT a bit...but not too far away...

And then there is this magnetic thingy, suppose to clip on your fuel hose to 'straighten' up the magnetic field and improve FC! Was very aggressive promoted a few years ago...Calski etc.

I still have two giant blocks my friend bought me "original from Japan". A huge 5cm diameter by 8cm magnetic metal block. Is it worth the trouble to go and attach to my fuel hose?

I volunteer to test it out for you... :yummie:

can you lend it to me? will try it out. if it doesn't work, can i keep it? :nehnehhh:

Good try. But, honestly, since it's outside the fuel/ engine system, it can't do much harm right? I might just drive to BVO and ask Ah Wee to attach it and see if it tickles my butt.

Anybody has any negative experience with such magnetic attachment?

Re: Broquet - Any good?

it's supposed to magnetise or ionise the fuel molecules and help combustion.

from the sales pitches i have heard, 1 unit doesn't really do much.

the sales guy swears some ferrari and porsche drivers clamp between 8-14 units on their fuel lines and it helps. (are their fuel lines really that long?)

but he also added that they have lots of money to burn...

Re: Broquet - Any good?

aiyoh, u believe the salesmen theory of ferrari drivers bother to clamp the stuff on their fuel lines to save money on petrol ah? hehe
to quote one of my ah sia gia frens "if u can drive this kinda car, u won't bother abt the expenses" and yup he got loads of summones for parking along roadside n ex petrol receipts.
only plus point of it all as i remembered, we changed alot of his shell points for many boxes of mandarin oranges a few years back....hehe

Re: Broquet - Any good?

sorry for the 2 days of silence...

The Green Plus does not have any negative side effects other than the hassle of pouring in a dose at every tank fill.

If you want to clamp some magnets to your fuel lines, do a little research on the molecular structure of fuel. What you see or don't see will answer all..

Sorry cannot say much more..

Cheers

Your comments not very helpful (useful) leh. You hint hint 'not favourable' but don't want to say anything.
