Hi, bad experience today. Driving out of Changi Airport Terminal 3 carpark (carpark nearer to Crowne Plaza Hotel), just out of carpark gantry, climbed the ramp to get out of basement and think rear right wheel went over potentially a pothole (didn’t see anything actually), heard a loud “thump”. Car seemed fine, drove up and out to ECP.
About 500m away from T3, felt steering was not quite right, got out of car, and saw rear right wheel totally out of alignment, and from below looks like rear axle broken.
anyone experienced rear axle broken this way before? Not even sure how it happen. Bodywork no damage at all. Ramp was steep, but no different from usual carpark ramps. Not sure if got pothole at all. Really puzzling.
