Brighter Xenons??

Hi,

It will fit as long as you get the same D2 base socket....meaning D2S type 35W xenon bulb. Our ballast is designed to drive this wattage of xenon bulb only.

By others do you mean other makes of cars or??? BMWs standard fitted bi-xenons are less white than the other makes, but I don't think that it is because they want to cheat you or anything... Each manufacturer will decided what to put on their own cars and I guess BMW felt that the bulb they were using for their bi-xenons were white enough. Just my 2 cents worth...

I was told today by a guy from the PML parts dept that "warmer-coloured" light generally gives better visibility in heavy rain condition ( better visibility to the driver and the on-coming cars) as warmer light is able to penetrate better in a downpour. The BMW xenon light temp is chosen to give this optimal performance and safety reason.

PML sells the xenon lamps at about SGD4K w/o labour.

Hmm... how did he program the car to do that? I think even with Daytime Running Lights you need to start the engine first.

I think all he did is to tap the wiring of the AEs to the interior lighting ones....
Interior lightings behave that way..
