I have recently replaced the original front brake pads (for Brembo 4-pot) that is almost worn-out (left 2 -3 mm nia), with a pair of new Hawk Performance Street Pads. Have no complains about the bite and less dusty compared to OEM Brembo one.
Having drivng it for almost a week plus, here comes my nitemare...whenever I step the brake during forward or reverse, it produces the infamous "clack clack sound" (got this description from wt_know..) Apparently this is due to the imperfect fitment of pads with caliper - too much of leeway of the pad holder's hole hanging to the pin. So, I'm just wondering what are the possbile solutions? I use ear plug or volume-up the audio still can hear the sound..:sleepy:
Never thought of switching to other brands of brake pads could be so problematic...sigh!!
