Brakes problem urgently need help

Recently had this brake problem and need some advice.

Usually when driving and tap brakes, it should only use a little strength and the car brake would be working fine.
However recently, when i step on brakes, it would suddenly become hard like when engine off(like the pressure of the step became so hard) that i have to use a lot of strength to step on the brake pedal to keep the car to stop.

Have recently change the brake pump also but did not solve the problem.

Anyone can advise?

Vacuum leak problem since you already changed the pump ........ ?

Trace the vacuum line near the brake fluid area ....

My workshop told me vacuum was there.
What could be the other problems?

Ask the workshop to see the vacuum check valve at the brake booster ..................

Vacuum lessens the force needed to depress the pedal - nothing else helps lessens the force needed.

If the pedal is hard - vacuum is not assisting.

Vacuum can't assist if it is leaking ......

Was the prob there bef you changed the pump ?
What was the issue that prompted you to change the pump ?

Previous change the pump as i was told the pump is leaking.
Currently changed most of the parts for brake and left the master pump or what you call that.

As for vacuum, how to check if it is leaking and not assisting?

Also anyone know the price for the follow?

- engine mounting ??
- water pump (as my coolant is leaking)
- master brake pump or sometink

Previous change the pump as i was told the pump is leaking.
Currently changed most of the parts for brake and left the master pump or what you call that.

If the ws told you the pump is faulty and its still not quite right after you changed with they told you to change then go back and ask the ws to settle the other issues.

Do you want wild card type of answer or answer from someone more professional ?
Do you think a mechanic can give an accurate advice just by reading your post ?
What do you think workshop is there for ?

I can arrange for my buddies in this forum to meetup with you whereby you buy everyone a meal and each of us give you an answer to your question.

BTW if you want ppl to give you advice while at a meet up then go attend the meetup at last sun of the month.

Go back to the workshop that changed your pump. They have to do a stripdown check on the entire system to CSI the problem.

This beats trying to solve a multiple-possibilities issue via an online consultation. Based on an interpreted question, the answer will be pointing to multiple angles which will solve nothing at all.
