Brake pedal vibrate and DSC warning light

Hi guys

my E90 is having this funny "kong kong" sound from the front left wheel when i do cornering.. my brake pedal vibrated as soon as i heard the sound and my DSC warning light came up for 1 sec and went off..

Anyone experienced the same problem?

Lady..... congratulations, you just experienced the ABS kicking in to keep the car in line. Looks like you entered the corner a little too hot and the car felt that it had to intervene to keep you safe...

On a more serious note, does it happen at every corner?

it happened twice... but i didn't drive fast leh.. just a normal cornering.. hehe

Oops..... time to bring it in for a check. Sounds like something is loose around the suspension and hub area.

Looks like you are destined for the "PML Experience".....

ohh...dear... now i am worried liao...hahhaa...

really hope that PML will not create another problem by solving this problem..will bring in the car to PML and let u guys know whats wrong then...

Road condition also plays a part. Was the road wet during those two occasions?

nope.. its dry.. i read from the E90fanatics forum, seems like a few of them having similar problem, due to the sensitivity of the DSC on E90.. most of them choose to switch it off becasue of this problem.

What will be the issue if the DSC is off? cos my sales kept telling me that "do not switch off the DSC"..

You will lose your traction control if you do that. Not much of an issue if you don't speed. However, if you do speed and your wheels lose any traction on the road, then you're very likely to try and recover any slips without the assistance of your ECU.

i suggest you keep the DSC on. It's the computer trying to save your life in the event of a real emergency.

the aftersales experience sounds really horrible... may be i should get some "brothers" to go with me and make them scared first before doing my car... hahahahaha

HIAZ.. really don't feel like bringing in my car.. may be i will wait whether the problem will pop up again...

U can ask Tua Jia Rod to follow u...

U shld bring in your car since on warranty.. dun let those useless PML aftersales ppl get away.. Go to kumpong Arang.. heard more reliable.

If u insist to go Alexanda, never let pea brain Andrew (CSA) service u hor.. gd d luck!

Yup. You should go to kampong Arang and ask for Anwar. He's one of the better CSA over there. I have never send in my car to Alexandra before after hearing all those horror stories about that place.

Don't switch DSC off. You paid good money for it, and it will save your life. Just because it gives such minor annoyances is not reason enough for you to switch it off.

will send in the car tomorrow.. its getting worse.. the DSC flashed even on a straight normal road..

let's see how my "aftersales experience" goes..worst come to worst, I sacrify a bit and use some "mei ren ji" loh...whaahahahaaa...
