I think maybe the recent new Volvos are mimick-ing BMW's styling. The new S40 and S80 both have 'sharks' fin on their body already :juggle:. In fact the new S80 design has some BMW cues, so in order to prevent that, maybe BMW intends to buy it up 1st.

BMW bought Rover and the only decent thing that came out of it was Mini.... and now, no more Rover.... not as we know it anyway......

Maybe they intend to shut Volvo up for good too.....

Or even take over their trade secrets for a better NCAP rating? Thats what BMWs has not been doing well relatively in the european context of automobiles.

Of course the NCAP rating of battle tanks will be high. They are made to withstand direct hits from Anti-tank-rockets

It's a good buy.......but just dont apply Volvo's AWD system to BMW cars.
