for sure increase selling price la
it's simply demand vs supply that drive up coe and naturally selling price
as usual coe up, selling price up. coe down, selling price stay or down a little then up again when coe up
whether coe go north or south, AD wants to increase profit margin
Perhaps. In USA, BMW increased the price by 1% across the board. But I don't see why they have to increase across the board here including "bread and butter" models. It might just be PML's greed.
BMW of North America just announced a price increase of 1% for some BMW models sold in the U.S. starting October 1.
The newly launched BMW 5 Series will not see a price increase, same applies to the ActiveHybrid X6 and 7, and the 5 Series Gran Turismo.
BMW will announce the pricing for the 2011 BMW X3 sometimes in October and sales will begin late December.
No information has been released on MINI models and their pricing structure for 2011.
Thanks to the tax structure and trade barriers that the government erected, you have essentially one of the least competitive car retail market around. That's how PML's gross margin can be, in many cases, higher than SELLING prices in other countries.

C&C on the other hand is offering FREE upgrade to the next car in the series (e.g. E200->E250) for the month of December.
Maybe it's time for Merz to reclaim their #1 spot. I still think the E250 coupe is damn sweet.. almost bought that but the cars that C&C had left had terrible colors.

Dropped by PML to get a car shampoo today and saw the latest price list.
Whoa the 320 price, at 188,800 is a whopping 55k more than what I paid for mine a few years back, even though
- OMV is almost 10k lower
- COE is 30k higher
I believe PML is significantly raising margins to make up for loss volume brought on by fewer COE quota. Tsk tsk
