Erm... I think it might be a car that I saw at a paintshop once. It was previously gold then repainted black and had the fenders cut to put the M3 side gills. The engine also had a FI mod 8)

Oh I see.. should ask the owner to complete his mod!

:)

if you're going for performance, then you shouldnt put in spacers to widen the track. if you want to change to m3 fenders, then you have to change the entire rear subframe, drive shaft, rotors, calipers, arms, shocks, spring. like that might as well buy m3.

therefore, mod cannot be completed.

Any M3 makeover without these side-grilles would just not be complete

actually it's still way cheaper than buying an m3, with probably about 100k savings. and you save rd tax, and insurance. add in another 30k to mod the car to be faster than an m3, with all m3 underpinnings, and you may still have 4-door convenience, and save 70-80k in the process. very feasible and you got a sleeper in your hands, and can occassionally cause some m3 owners to scratch their heads. the only problem is that most of this mod cost cannot be factored into the finance.

u r rite bro...btw its a 2 dr e46 coupe when i saw, imagine the owner have to change rims or add spacer to the rims, cut and spray the rear and the front fender to convert to wide body m3??
would u do that ,imagine yr car is new and accident free?? :screwedu: :screwedu: :screwedu:
btw.did anybody seen the bimmer ?? should look stunning..heard it was FI and stroke up??

It might be cheaper but I wonder if anyone can actually do a proper job with the conversion... in Europe and the US I believe it can be done, but here... I have some reservations... The car might also be faster, yes... but how about handling? without the wider track, you would tend to sacrifice some handling there...

singapore got...spend a lot of $ ... :screwedu: go lye design...amk autopoint.they did 2 conversion for 318 ci and 320 cab.owner spend abt $40k to cut rear fender and convert to fully M3,interior and exterior... :screwedu: :screwedu: :screwedu: might as well get a real m3...
but i heard from ah lye ,finally the owner got pyscho by the bmw salesman and got a real m3,haha damn rich....
