BMW 335 or 630 ?? The Age Old Question...

Hi Lingus,
I think you have made up your mind to get the e63.
Since you have the initial dilemna of choosing between a classy and a sporting car, I can recommend you one that combines both factors:
Used BMW 630Ci Car for Sale from Singapore, Exotic Motor - sgCarMart

The depreciation may be higher than normal, but that's because the car is heavily modded. The mileage is lower than the one you were looking at (90k+ compared to 68k km).

According to the owner, all the mei mei like this car!

Just curious, how is the insurance premium like for a 645 especially since recently insurance premiums seem to have gone sky high? Is there significant difference in premium bet for a 645 and 630 assuming almost the same age?

i was told for 645 its about $2.5k plus minus at 50% NCB

Not to worry . just engage 3rd gear and drive it like automatic, enough torque to start off anf enough speed for highway.

Still got one hand free, haha

cabrio probably 10% - 20% more

Re: BMW 335 or 630 ?? The Age Old Question...

over 90km is quite high mileage, once you exceed 100km it will be extremely difficult to sell, the depreciation is staggering, better off finding a lower mileage (under 60km) unit.

one hand eat laksa while driving?

the 645 u saw is quite cheap..for $149800.. V8 somemore..
the 6 is definitely a better choice.

+1 and once over 100k km, you may need to start changing parts like gear box etc. So long as you've factored this cost in...

93k km in four years is rather high mileage as well. Other parts like suspension, brakes etc.

Also pre-facelift versus new facelift considerations...but this is personal to you.
