when u say modern...meaning the F range ? I never tried driving with my door open...let me try later in the evening! HA!

works on e60 also. Happened when i had my seat belt off and door open..

Ya, experienced first hand...opened the tailgate with the car parked too close to the rear wall, when car was still very new. The electric tailgate just jam itself tight against the wall...I panic like fark, try to start engine and move forward. No matter what I did, the car just did not want to move. It will move, jerk, stop, everytime I tried. Panic like siao, until I read the dashboard that says my door not closed.

Should have asked how the thief got in there in the first place .....

My colleague met a thief who is sitting in his car trying to start his car. He stared at the thief and that thief still had the cheek to ask my colleague to mind his own business. When my colleague told him that is his car, that thief ran away as if fire is burning his ass. This is a true story that happened about 1 week ago in JB. My colleague didn't want to wack that fella because he is worried that there could be a few more accomplice nearby.

Should have asked how the thief got in there in the first place .....

The car lock was somehow unlocked by the thief. Unfortunately no alarm was installed in his car except for an immobilizer.
