Has anyone used the Axxis Ultimate and/or Deluxe Plus brake pads in their front brakes? Axxis markets these pads made by Bendix Mintex in Australia, and they are all the rage in the US for their performance characteristics (Ultimate for occasional track day use and Deluxe+ for quiet and virtually dust-free OEM performance). When emailed, Bendix Mintex in Australia denied they had any applications for E60's. Not sure about local availability.
I'm uding Bendix Ultimate for my rears at the moment. Can't really tell the difference but there's no squealing etc. Try asking Triple M he uses Axxis Ultimates

Where did you buy your Ultimate pads from? Is there a distributor/retailer in Singapore? How's the dust level on your rears compared to stock?
I could only get front pads for the E60, in both Ultimate and Deluxe Plus formulations. Axxis is the brand that is used in the US to market Bendix Mintex products. The boxes clearly state that these are a product of Australian technology. Can anyone say Mad Max?
Axxis Ultimate for Toto/Deluxe Plus for garage queen
Toto had his Ultimate fronts installed a couple of days before the PML Sepang track day. Apparently, he is so happy with them he no longer feels the need for a BBK.
I had my D+ installed last week as well, but have only put 30kms on the pads since picking the garage queen up from J4C on Monday. So far, all I can say is that the front wheels are cleaner than the rears for the first time ever, so it seems that the D+ really is dust free.
Re: Axxis Ultimate for Toto/Deluxe Plus for garage queen
I'm using Bendix Ultimate for fronts on stock rotors and caliper, and there is a definite improvement in braking feel and brake performance. The feel is also very confidence-inspiring, and no squeal. Almost 500km already. Did mine at BVO as well.
I bought both the Ultimate & D+ from zeckhausen.com, and had them shipped to me when I was in the US for a couple of weeks. You can find all the prices there FOB east coast. Dave Z gets his pads and brake parts from StopTech, so if you want to go to the source, go to StopTech.com. ST will tell you to go to VASSAuto, who will then tell you to go to Amos at J4C. So save yourself some time and aggro, and bug Amos if you want Bendix Mintex/Axxis pads for your UDM.
Re: My Axxis Ultimate/Deluxe+ pads should get FF miles
There is a dealer for bendix and mintex pads along King Georges Ave along Lavender St. The shop is In Wah Marketing. You can recognise the shop by the large shut metal shutter doors. Only 1 small door is open. When you go there to buy the pads, try and bring a sample cos those guys take a long time to look through their catalogs for reference numbers.

Typically, say if u get the Axxis Ultimates from the US ( full set for applications on E46 , E39 , E85 and a few others on stock calipers), it's goin to cost you bout 300bux to your door step.

The E60 front fitments alone from the US will cost S$250 for the Ultimate, and $200 for the Deluxe Plus. Rear pads have not been released by Axxis/Bendix Mintex yet.
At least these are Porsche 911 sized pads (says so on the Ultimate box), so the OE brakes fitted on the even the lowliest 6 cylinder E60's are pretty high spec.
These prices are FOB East Coast US, and each pair of pads weighs approx 3kgs, so you figure out the CIF Singapore yourself using your favourite mode of shipping.
