Average Maintenance Cost

Hi there... wanna pool some feedback what is your car model and average maintenance cost to own BMW.. for example:
1. What type of petrol
2. Fuel Consumption
3. Services Cost (per 10km or 20km)
4. Any other cost?

petrol can be 95 and above. servicing depending on where u go. PML is $280 for 1st 10k. outside workshops slightly less. other costs r know r moding costs. hehe

Thanks Slater.. $280 for 1st 10k seems not bad... anyone can share what your opex to own BMW per year? Want to know the damage of having german car...

it really varies blademan. if u heng ur car will have no problems hence ur opex will be very low apart from servicing. if tai chi liao liao then the sky is the limit for opex.

depend on the mileage travelled...new car 0-30k km travelled sure so no problem..got problem go shout at PML

My car start having problem at 39K ..first gearbox jerk seems like everytime I slow down someone bang me from behind..luckily resolved be s/w update and the cost is $240...now belt tensioner kaput..another $250..seems like some small leak appear at the oil pan....my warrranty over liao...

In short if you spend just 1k per year to maintain you should count your blessing..........of course if yours a lemon, then it need a lot of juice....oops forget you need to change tires every 30k ...petrol not included..

My tyres just puncture, have to change.
Many unexpected cost, so dun think too much. Cannot budget until accurate accurate one.
End of the day, just enjoy ur ride. Since we only live once.

As for fuel and servicing, not very significant compared to the depreciation of a 525. So no worries, MW say one.

U rich leh! Tyres puncture then change. Nv even think of repair the lobang, puncture so jalat meh???

Not only tire puncture...low pressure straight change tyres....

Not only tire puncture...low pressure straight change tyres....

Paiseh la, my notes printing machine at home hoh, the on off switch pai liao, so keep printing money non stop. Damn xian xia....:chinese:

2. Fuel Consumption - 10km/l
3. Services Cost (per 10km or 20km) - nil except for oil change @ 4000km and not done @ pml
4. Any other cost? - nil so far except for trying out new car fresher
