Attention Pls: ( Bad Incident) M5 Steering Wheels

Re: Attention Pls: ( Bad Incident) M5 Steering Wheels

Hi Bro,

Take for your advise,

Cheers.......

Re: Attention Pls: ( Bad Incident) M5 Steering Wheels

One must know which year the M5 SMG steering wheel is produced for.

Late 2003 to early 2005 'key' start E60 has different part number for the M5 steering wheel (including airbag) compared to 'push' start E60 (B4 the New Joystick Gear shift).

Buying "used" or "grey import" or any non official channel does have reward (e.g. cost saving, faster, better service, etc). But I feel these channels are really more suitable for sophisticated buyer who knows their stuff. You may meet great seller, but don't count on it.

So for the "general" buyers, it may be more worthwhile from proper channel, at least it is most probably safer.

Hi Bro,

where i get his contact, before meeting up, the first thing you need is handphone to communicate right then follow by meet up to collect the goods, so we meet at woodland
centre mac, honestly one look you can tell whether is it malaysian or singaporean and the way he speak.

Please correct me if i m wrong.

Cheers
To buy from Malaysia, i would go to BMW Club Malaysia. From the club forum, at least i could check out the history of the seller. In addition, i would ensure that the part number is correct.

The last time i bought an used item on BMW-SG, i asked the seller to confirm the part number before we meet up. The moment we meet up, he shows me the part number as discussed.

Anyway, good luck with ur sales.

Re: Attention Pls: ( Bad Incident) M5 Steering Wheels

1st of all, it's better to state which year this M5 steering is all about...........

Re: Attention Pls: ( Bad Incident) M5 Steering Wheels

If that is a OEM M5 steering wheel and not some kind of fake replica, you can just post it for resale in the forum. Believe, there are buyers waiting to buy. You can post the part number and let potential buyer check it out. There are forummer looking to change to E60 Sports Steering, if the M5 steering wheel that you are selling is original and can fit other 5 series. There could be a deal and your loss is mitigated.

Re: Attention Pls: ( Bad Incident) M5 Steering Wheels

Sad to hear this bro, I've similar experience from Malaysian.
Not being prejudice, but my experience with Malaysian is sucks, not only 1 time but twice, dealing with different products. Twice experience cost me damage of 3k.
I tell myself never to deal with them again!

Re: Attention Pls: ( Bad Incident) M5 Steering Wheels

I'm guessing you bought an E36 M3 steering wheel for your E34..if your E34 production date is pre 9/90, forget it. Otherwise, the steering wheel should fit if you change the slip ring on the E36 M3 steering to the E34 slip ring.

Re: Attention Pls: ( Bad Incident) M5 Steering Wheels

Don't you all forget they are from the BOLEH land? Everything sure can one.

Bro, It's a lesson learnt.

Re: Attention Pls: ( Bad Incident) M5 Steering Wheels

hi fat guy, sorry abt ur loss

how do u get to know this fella in the 1st place? did u saw an ad of his? or whatsoever?

Re: Attention Pls: ( Bad Incident) M5 Steering Wheels

If you are good and smart enough to do yr homework, fine, u avoided the hassle.
The point is someone will still get it, sometimes is not how careful u are, is the type of selling u need to watch.

Just my opinion.
