Hi all,
I am driving a lci e60. Was being introduced a body kit supplier from this forum and went ahead to install a replica M5 front bumper.
Here came the problem. The front bumper came in pre cut sensor holes meant for non lci e60, meaning the holes are bigger for the lci version front sensors which are smaller. So the body kit shop filled up the gaps with patty to reduce the unslightlyness. I was told by the body kit shop that this is how they every time do it. I am ok with the explanation but the bigger problem is that every time I put my car into reverse mode, the front sensors will immediately read "red" and beep all the way as if there are obstacles in the front but in actual fact there are none. This gave me a big headache as sometimes I can't hear the rear sensors beep due to the front sensors beeping very loudly.
Do any of you guys face this problem? If u have, how did u guys solve the problem?
