Guys, lm going Bangkok this weekend...any good stuff to get over there? Appreciate if any bros can recommend any places to go to...

Re: Any Good stuff to get in Bangkok?

Hey hey! If u do intend to get stuff, u can check out R-Style. Details are in our workshop page. Usually, the items that are being bought over there are small items like roundels, pedals etc etc...

Cheers!

PS: If u do find other places, please post them up!

Re: Any Good stuff to get in Bangkok?

wat stuff u refering to?

for cars?

For cars, they only have one place where u can find all the motor parts shops.

LUANG ROAD @ the WAORACHAT district.
about 15 mins Taxi ride from MBK Centre approx 60Baht in taxi fare.

But, for BMW, tink not much for u to get there. They have more range for Japanese makes.

If U talking about clothes ... MBK centre, Pathuwan Centre, Siam Square, Chatuchak Market.

NEVER GO PATPHONG TO BUY THINGS... SEE SEE LOOK LOOK CAN... THERE FAMOUS CUT THROAT!!

Entertainment.... hmmm... pls PM if wanna know!!

Re: Any Good stuff to get in Bangkok?

hehe.....tot of getting AC pedals and the side step....maybe m3 mirrors?? :)

Re: Any Good stuff to get in Bangkok?

U will be able to get the pedals & the dead pedal at R-Style. They have a few different designs and please tell them if your's an E46/36, sedan or coupe etc... Rep M3 mirrors look like M5 mirrors... so be careful too.

Cheers

Re: Any Good stuff to get in Bangkok?

is it much cheaper compared to getting from there & locally? How abt the quality? tks

Re: Any Good stuff to get in Bangkok?

I can vouch for the pedals but not the mirrors. Set of 3 should cost between S$125 to S$130 (THB 3000).

Re: Any Good stuff to get in Bangkok?

I've been in contact with a Prapan from NVD Autosport. They sell replica M3 Mirrors (non-foldable) at US$228. This is only the shell and you transplant your existing motors over. They also have versions with motors at the same price. You can contact him at (66)09-6891998 when you are there.

If you do see the actual product(s) and any other stuff he's selling please do let us know so that all of us can tongpang something, yah?

Oh yes, he's got a website too: www.nvdautosport.com

There are BMW bodykits, mirrors, spoilers....

address: 18/25 Moo 10 Soi Onnut 80 Onnut Rd. Prawet Bangkok Thailand 10250 Tel 662-3207222-4, Fax 662-3207225

Re: Any Good stuff to get in Bangkok?

I was in bangkok a couple of weeks ago and went to r-style. Its the only place i found that sells bmw parts there.

Compared to australia (where im from), the stuff was really cheap. They sell stuff like badges, pedals, shift knobs, angel eyes, strut bars, mirrors, roof spoilers etc etc...

I got an ACS style roof spoiler, auto shift knob & bmw roundel for my e36 :D

I am Thai and live here...nothing much here to get for bimmers. Most cool stuff are ordered from overseas by the shops.
