Thanks for all the advice, tried all conceivable means, except respraying, damage has been done....

Saving grace is that the affected area is only on the top of the car, total area about 1 A4 size area.... sigh

the birds have BBQ party on your ride? A4 size.. that is major LAO SAI on your ride man!

recently i have bird shit baked under sun and i only clean the following morning. after first wash the bird shit blurry stain was still there. but subsequently after several wash with meguire wash n wax, it is now as good as other parts of the car. give it a try.

Normally most bird shit I can remove by just using baby wipes. But got one particular one, after I removed, I can see damage to the clear coat. I try and use autoglym polish to polish off but to no avail. I was on it for around 30 mins! I went to Groomwerkz yesterday and Eric use his polish to polish off.... it took him 30 secs.

try meguire wash n wax.. works wonder for me.. clear coat restored..

I use Meguires ultimate compound if regular polish doesn't remove the stain.
Works everytime
