Actually the E36 M3 sedan has quite a following in other markets. Appeals to those who want performance with flexibility and a low key nature, i.e. this one needs to have all the bling removed IMHO. But what do I know...?

Now give me that cabrio anytime. I ran a check & actually, BMW made quite a lot of variants within the M3 series as in different equipment & set-up for groups & countries etc.
Yeah, the 4 door is an interesting option to keep a low profile. Gone are the days of stealthy powerhouse cars as buyers want bling rides now. Look @ the post E36 M & W201 AMG series.
I was on my way to check that M3 few days ago but turned back when finance minister says NO. :argue:

Dont you still have the E39 M5? For me it represents the pinnacle of styling and performance for the M cars. Sure there were other Ms with better performance (E30 M 3 for sure was a car that punched and handled way above it's weight) but for overall esthetic, performance and keeping things within the original Q car ethos, I LOVE the E39 M5
