Hey atason,

I've got the same problem, the warning light comes on for a few minutes each morning. The signal light is also activated, minus the flashing.

What I did was fiddle with the wiring a bit (in case anything's loose) and it seems to work... no problems in the last few days *fingers crossed*

Cheers!

Re: angle eye blinded one side

I'm pretty new to angel eyes.

Can someone just briefly explain to me how it works? Do it turn on once you start the car and stay on for the duration that the car is on? Or is there a switch to turn it on and off?

Newer kits come with the "remote" and "dimmer" kit, what do those do?

Many thanks in advance.

hey there Alex,

Basically.. it replaces the small little light u have on ur car now. when u wanna turn on the head lights, u turn in once to the right? thats the small light im talking bout.. the "orange looking light". they will use that as the connection ... so b4 u turn on ur headlights, u have ur angel lights on then another click and ur headlights are on!!.. it'll look real good..

Now the "dimmer" effect ur talking bout is the remote DDE... it's a switch when u lock ur car.. it dims out... when u unlock ... it comes on and dims out again ... u can get this frm Barry... it's i think SGD260 with the remote i think??...

Anyways.. i'll seee u today and we'll talk more... :)

Re: angle eye blinded one side

Ohh i seeeee..

Haha, that's perfect, exactly how i want it. Do we lose the functionality of the small little light then? It quite ugly anyway. :lol2:

Another question.. Will the rings be lit when the main light is switched on then?

The dimmer/remote option is freaking cool lah! I think i'll be purchasing my angel eye kit soon.

Thanks a lot, Shaaz.

P.S. Sorry didn't have much time to catch up today, we'll talk some other time!

Re: angle eye blinded one side

When angel eyes don't work properly, it is indeed a problem. For us normal folks, we usually visit an optician and more often than not, a pair of glasses or contacts kind of make it work again. Angel eyes mah... hmmm... we don't even have the exact heaven address.... less if there are optician up there... sorryz. :yummie:

Hi there....

I am new to this forum. I am interested in getting the angel eyes. Can enlighten if it involves changing the whole headlamps or just replacing the "small light" module? Can it be done for E46 CI? Where can I get it done and for how much pls? Thanks.

You don't need to replace anything. The set is just clipped on to your original lights housing. You can get it done at either BVO or Juzz For Cars I think. The address and phone number can be found under the workshop lisitngs. Best is to give them a call first before heading down.
